I’m loving my trips to Arizona in November for the second year in a row! This time, we added California in there, too & I’m so thankful we did. My college friend, Hannah, and I signed up to attend a photography workshop in Tempe, Arizona led by the best of the best in the industry. Of course, Katelyn James was there, so I immediately signed up. I’m such a fan of her & her business. I flew into Phoenix, where we spent two nights there. Hannah had to assist a wedding on Friday so I took on Scottsdale on my own. It was gorgeous, but I’m not going to lie, I’m such an extrovert I was so bored being by myself. Saturday morning we left bright and early to road trip to California. We stayed in an Air B&B at Mission Beach. It WAS AMAZING! I highly recommend staying there, which is super close to La Jolla, which is a touristy area. We still got to enjoy the beauty of La Jolla by renting bikes and taking a stroll. The coffee shops were the best & the food was delicious. I could have definitely spent more time in San Diego. After spending a few days there, we traveled north to meet up with our friend Beth Bell & her family. We all went Kayaking & then ended the evening with a sunset session on the beach. After the session, I was on a mission to find these Pop Bars – DELICIOUS! Be sure to find them wherever you travel. LOVE ! Hannah & I traveled back to Phoenix the following day to prepare for our workshop we attended. We learned so much from these amazing photographers & we both are excited to incorporate them into our business.
