DYLAN + RACHEL | JORGENSEN FARMS WEDDING

GUYS! This wedding was picture perfect from every detail of the big day. Dylan + Rachel married at the beautiful Jorgensen Farms on a lovely November Saturday. We could not have asked for better weather either. It was not hot, but not cold. I don’t think I even wore a coat all day, which is crazy for me since I’m always cold. They had anticipated an outdoor ceremony, but opted to hold their ceremony within the barn, which was just as gorgeous. It gave us some time to sneak back out for pictures while they transformed the room into the reception.

Dylan + Rachel did a first look, which I am SUCH a fan of. It was one of my favorite moments of the day simply because of how much joy these two shared in those moments through laughter. Dylan informed her before he turned around that he was not wearing the shirt she would be expecting him to be wearing. At first, I even thought, why would you tell her that before the first look? Maybe she will not even notice? Despite what I thought, Rachel just laughed and laughed. Even if she did care, she definitely did not communicate that & it turned into one of the funniest moments of the day that I’m so happy I got to witness. Their portraits are dynamite. I am OBSESSED with all the colors, the light, the round bales… you name it, I probably LOVE it. Oh, one thing I LOVE for sure that I have NEVER seen before is her hair piece. Be sure to take note how AMAZING it is on the back of her head. I was sure to get pictures that would show it off. I’m a sucker for navy suits, the wine/cranberry color, and all things YELLOW! This wedding held so many of MY favorite things. I may LOVE details about weddings I get to photograph, but it doesn’t mean it is necessarily what I would do for myself… BUT, this wedding had so many of those details I LOVE all the way down to the buffalo plaid shirts the girls got ready in. Rachel dear, you looked flawless on your wedding day. You shared so much joy, laughter, and even beautiful tears. I think I even got a few of Dylan shedding a tear or two! I’m so so thankful to have been chosen to document your special day. Thank you for trusting me, going to photo locations I suggested, letting me get ONE more picture in. You two are troopers. Beautiful couple, beautiful souls. Enjoy looking back on a day you dreamt of and planned for months.

Oh, one more thing I need to mention – their DJ was one of the best!!! I’m a sucker for the dance floor & judge DJ’s more on their performance than they even realize & theirs did NOT disappoint. Hands down, one of the best. I recommend him to all future brides. DJ AXCESS <—
