I love the country and homes with land to roam. There is nothing like it. This family has a plenty of land to get lost in & we even incorporated some of the animals that have played a significant role in their lives. Whitney had contacted me a while back to set up a family session to help celebrate both mother + father’s day. Not to mention, she said it has been forever since they had their entire family photographed. We had an original date picked out, but due to weather we needed to reschedule. I am so thankful we did because we ended up with a gorgeous day – maybe a little on the warm side, but still a beautiful day. Carl + Marilyn just celebrated their 49th anniversary, too! It was a perfect time to get these done.
They ended up taking me back to a special tree on their property. I actually had to take back my words I posted a few days before when I posted a picture from South Carolina & said, “They do not have trees like this in Ohio.” Well, apparently they do because this tree was AWESOME. They informed me it is the 5th largest tree reported in the state of Ohio. How neat?! We shared many laughs during this session as well out by this tree.
