WOW!! I can’t believe October is over, just like that. In the blink of an eye, my favorite month has passed me by. After a month like October, I have so much to be thankful for as I head into the Thanksgiving month. October was such a monumental month for the business. Sadly, the blog had taken a backseat this past month. I genuinely could NOT keep up with traveling to multiple sessions a day, shooting weddings, creating sets for the Fall Mini sessions, and meeting with new potential clients.
With that being said, I want to THANK YOU for entrusting Katie Lee Photography with your treasured memories. In the month of October I had exactly…… (DRUM ROLL)…… 50 SESSIONS!!!!! I double checked, there are only 31 days in the month, but somehow I fit 50 sessions & 2 WEDDINGS in a single month. That’s insane!!! I have told several people, my career is similar to that of farming & October is my harvest as well. I did everything I could to make sure my down months would be taken care of financially. At one point, my mom even told me to stop booking so I could get caught up on my editing, but I reminded her that the farmers do not even come in to eat from the fields. You do what you need to do so your off months are not so scary.
Speaking of off months, did you miss that I quit my DAY JOB? October 2, 2015 marked my first day as a full time Katie Lee Photography business owner. I have not even had time to think about missing that place or the people. I loved my co-workers, but I am also thankful for the new friendships I have made this past month with clients. I am looking forward to my ‘off-months’ to sit back and get the business side of things taken care and updated.
I also received an exciting award that was announced on October 1, but I did not even have time to think about it or share with you. For the 3rd year in a row, I was awarded the Favorite Photographer of Union County award!!! So exciting & I’m so thankful for all the votes. You all are such faithful clients and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude towards you. My business would not be where it is if it where not for YOU – so THANK YOU!!!

Moving forward, I want to share a little tid bit on how to keep up with Katie Lee Photography!! FIRST, if you have NOT already, follow me on Instagram @katieleephoto !!! I post images on there, you may not see on facebook, which brings me to my next point. While facebook has been a great resource to get my business out there, they have also done things on the back end of their programming to make it impossible for my images to reach my fans. SO if you do NOT want to miss a thing I post on facebook, you can choose to be notified when I post things. Unless mutual friends are tagged, many times, my posts will not show up on your newsfeed, which facebook has purposefully changed that. Below will be screen shots on what to click to be sure you keep up with the fan page, but ALSO be sure to follow me on instagram @katieleephoto <<— go to do it. ready.set.go.!!!!

If I ever tag you in photos, but you are wondering how to make them appear on your wall for friends to view, you will see a RED # beside View Activity Log. Click on that, (next photo below), then you will see Review # Item(s). You will choose Allow on Timeline!!

PHEW, that was a lot!!! To conclude the wrap up, I’m going to share with you an imagine from 47 of the sessions I had this past month & 2 weddings – 3 sessions are a complete surprise so I will not be sharing any from those specific ones. Enjoy!!
