Kyle + Lauren will be tying the knot this coming spring & I’m so excited to capture their wedding day. I met Lauren freshman year of college when we lived on the same floor. Later, I met Kyle through mutual friends. Although they did not date in our college years, the Lord aligned their paths over two years ago. In the mean time, these two have actively been pursuing their future careers. I’m just going to brag on them real quick because they have worked very hard over the past 8 years. Kyle can officially be called Dr. Sanders, and Lauren is in her final year of medical school & will also become Dr. Sanders. You will notice in their pictures, they hold a sign that says Dr. Sanders (squared). So great!!!
They spent the first part of their relationship states a part. Lauren has attended med school in Pikeville, Kentucky for the past four years & Kyle was in Hawaii + then Florida (tough life, huh?). This past fall, Kyle took a position in Kentucky, which made this location perfect for their engagement pictures. They had many locations scouted out for their session + I’m so thankful I traveled there for their pictures. Because Lauren will be going into residency, they definitely wanted to capture this place before moving.
First, we hiked up to an old coal mine on private property to catch the beautiful view of the Appalachian Mountains. It was truly beautiful. Next, we went to the location where Kyle proposed and finished pictures there. I love that they will have these pictures in such a meaningful location. Enjoy the view !!!
