AN EXTENDED WEEKEND IN PA

Like most of my blog posts, they are well overdue. In May, I traveled to PA for a close family friend’s wedding & spent extended time catching up and hanging with some of my favorite people. We spent Friday celebrating Daryl + Chris’s wedding, but we also kept ourselves entertained before and after the wedding.

I arrived Wednesday & met up with the good ol’ Hart brothers and enjoyed Texas Roadhouse – the usual meal we enjoy. Then, Thursday, I went over to Chris’ house to help with pre-wedding festivities. We helped make all the bouquets & I thanks to Heather, I got burnt very badly. (Love ya Heather!) I went to rehearsal & then we all enjoyed pizza that evening & just hung out.

The day after the wedding, Leah had a powderpuff game that we all went to. The boys painted their chest & yelled the entire game – poor girl, but she’s use to it. After the game, we stayed at the field/park for hours & then enjoyed the evening together again. Sunday was mother’s day & we all went to Church & then met at a pizza joint for lunch to celebrate all the mothers with us. Dessert was waiting on us at Craig + Nancy’s beautiful home. It was a GORGEOUS day where we spent just enjoying the company of one another. If there is ONE thing I love about all these people is you just need to be together to have a good time. They do not have to have a plan or some big event to attend in order to have fun – they just need each other. Enjoy a recap of our happenings aside from the wedding that weekend !!
