What a GORGEOUS wedding we celebrated this past weekend in Dover, Ohio. Both the ceremony & reception were held at Rivercrest Farm in their stunning barn. I arrived the day before to check some things out because they have 114 acres (I hope I have that correct) & I wanted to know what my options were for the portrait time. I am so thankful I did, too. After stepping out of my car, I was welcomed by a rooster & alpacha. The farm is full of animals including horses, cattle, goats, roosters, alpacha, and I’m sure others I did not even see. The majority of the barn where the reception is held is the original & they have since then added on to it. Their is an entire bridal suite & groomsmen room that both provide lodging. I have never seen anything like this place. Upon arriving, I knew this was the perfect venue for these two!
Now on to a little about this lovely couple. Last year I met this couple for the first time during their engagement session & I LOVED their session. We ventured all around Corbin’s families property and had so many great pictures. I knew the wedding pictures would be just as good with these two. All week, we were all a little anxious about the rain the forecast called for, but thankfully we were in the clear. It did not rain AT ALL during the day & it was not too sunny either, which was perfect for our portrait session in the hills. The girls all had their denim jackets & they ROCKED Them. It was the perfect touch for this rustic wedding. All the groomsmen took the majority of their photos in their jeans & nice shirt and tie. I loved that they did this because that is who they are & what they wanted to do. The groom asked me & I said as long as your future Mrs. is okay with it, I have no problem with it. She was so supportive of them wearing their casual attire & then changing for the remainder of the day/portraits.
Corbin + Tori, along with their families, put in a lot of work in their details for this wedding. Together, they made their desert table so be sure to notice it in the pictures. They also worked very hard on the center pieces with the plants and bottles. The owner of the venue collects mismatched china & provides all the place settings & they are just lovely. The venue also provides an entire closet of decor you have the option of choosing from. How awesome is that?
Oh, and my favorite detail of this wedding was the coffee actually had liquid flavored coffee creamer to go along with their coffee bar 🙂 Not to mention they had both Bailey’s & International Delight, which are two of my favorite flavors of creamers. It’s the small things that make me happy.
Congrats again & Enjoy the honeymoon!!
