Banana Oatmeal Bars

PINIMAGEGood Morning & Happy Wednesday, folks!!! I am introducing a new recipe this morning that is one of my favorites. If you can’t tell, I LOVE using oats & find myself drawn to oat based recipes. So, for all the OAT lovers out there, you are in for a treat. These breakfast bars are beyond simple, fairly healthy, and do not require much time at all. Love peanut butter? Love dark chocolate? Perfect! Here is a new recipe for you to enjoy !!

Banana Oatmeal Bars

2.5 c Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats

1/4 c Dark Brown Sugar

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

2 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/2 c Almond Milk

1 Large Egg

2 Large Bananas, mashed

1/3 c Creamy Peanut Butter

3/4 c Add-ins (I use DARK Chocolate Chips)

Directions::

Preheat Oven to 350 & Grease an 8×8 pan with cooking spray

Mix together: oats, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Add in: milk, vanilla, and egg (mix until combined evenly)

Add: mashed bananas, peanut butter, and dark chocolate chips – stir well

Bake for 20 minutes & cut into bars! Nom, nom!

Oh, and for the PB lovers, I drizzle Reese’s PB over it (shown above) SO GOOD!
