COLERIDGE FAMILY | HILTON HEAD ISLAND

Oh man, I have officially photographed my first Hilton Head session & I’d LOVE to do more. Seriously, this is my shameless plug to take me on your family vacation for family pictures.

Meet the Coleridge family. Many of my followers may recognize Kelly (in the lovely green dress) and her little family, but this is the rest of her immediate crew! I met Kelly in a interview during my time at IWU. Soon, she became my boss & RD & I worked under her for two years. Although she was my boss, we had a non-working friendship that has lasted years after graduating from IWU. Her & Derek have been so good to me, ask me intentional life questions, challenge me, and welcome me into their home anytime. They seriously one of my all time favorite people/couple/family.

One time while I was visiting or talking with Kelly, she casually said, “I wish we could do family pictures at Hilton Head because our entire family will be together!” I remember talking about the ‘idea’ of it & the more we discussed it, the more I wanted it to become a reality. It was the only weekend in June I didn’t have a wedding, too!! Sounded perfect to me. They presented the gift to their mom on mother’s day about family pictures. Such a neat idea. I traveled down near the Charleston area and stayed with family friends for the week & then on to Hilton Head for their session.

The Coleridge family is so great & were so kind to host me for an evening. I love their color coordination too. The wind was a bit much by the water, but that’s kinda expected, right? So happy we found the little nook on the walk to the beach to even get to palm trees in there. Ya’ll look SO GOOD! Love how all of these turned out, wind-blown hair and all. It’s part of the experience, I think 😉
