COREY + AMANDA | TURKS + CAICOS DESTINATION WEDDING

WHAT A DREAM THIS WEDDING WAS!!! I still can’t believe I got to travel to Turks + Caicos to capture this wedding day for Corey + Amanda!!! After meeting with the couple before their wedding, I knew our time spent in Turks + Caicos was going to be SO GOOD… and it was. My assistant, Jess, and I arrived a day & a half early & I’m so thankful we did. Our time was short, but ever so sweet. We were able to scout of the resort in advance to get some good ideas for pictures. You all expect the beach pictures & don’t worry, we got those covered, but this place is full of photo opportunities so we took advantage of them. Within the resort, there are 4 villages ( I think there are only 4), but they give you all the different feels. You have the Italian Village, French Village, Key West Village & the Caribbean Village. I honestly think we have pictures from all of them. I took all the detail pictures in Key West, the first set of portraits in Italian Village, the bride/groom portraits in the French Village & the wedding was in the Caribbean Village.

I am so thankful Corey + Amanda trusted me to take them throughout the resort instead of just staying in one spot. They were up for whatever I suggested & now they have photos even the resort has never seen. One of the employees saw a few of the wedding day images & even told me that he has never seen wedding pictures like that on their property. He told me, “We expect the beach photos, but I’ve never seen these!”

The weather called for rain much of the time we were there, but their wedding day was just picture perfect. It was definitely warm, but still perfect. They said their vows overlooking the beautiful teal/blue water followed by a reception with the same view. We were so spoiled with the best sunset. After we finished all the portraits, we joined the guests for dinner, cake, and dancing. The wedding was over by 9 PM, but the party did not. We all relocated for some karaoke.

Corey + Amanda had such dear friends & family by their side. I believe they had 37 people who traveled to be a part of their day – how amazing is that?! You two are definitely supported & loved by many. Hopefully these images will help tell your story & beautiful day for all those who were not present.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for entrusting me & Jess to come alongside you two. I do not take it for granted how kind you were to us the entire stay, how trusting you were of my craft, and how easy you were to work with. Your family and friends were just as kind to us & included us in all the festivities. We are truly thankful for this opportunity.

Amanda, you looked STUNNING & Corey, you looked quite dapper yourself. Beautiful color scheme & details you chose!
