This session was ROUND 2 for their engagement session. I’m not sure if you remember their winter one, but it is definitely a favorite as well. Taylor has a gorgeous styled coat on that just POPPED in the snow & Cory didn’t look too bad himself. I thought, how could it get any better than this, until their second engagement session came around. I have had many people ask me, “Isn’t that the couple who did the session in the snow?!” YES!! You are absolutely correct, so why a second session you may ask?! Why not?! Actually, there are very good reasons besides they fact that they are a stunning couple whom my camera LOVES!
Lake Erie is safe to call Cory’s second home!! Taylor asked a long time ago about possibly choosing a weekend later in the summer to head to Lake Erie because Cory really wanted to do some out on the lake & in HIS boat. First, if a guy is the one to suggest an idea, I’m usually on board because that means they are EXCITED about it. I was nervous to look at my calendar though because I had so many weddings lined up on the weekend, but we located one at the end of August & PRAYED for cooperating weather. The good Lord was BEYOND GOOD to us, too!!! It was literally the most perfect day to be out on the lake.
Cory actually proposed to Taylor out on his boat on the lake, too!! It is simply a meaningful spot to him & I’m so thankful we had the opportunity to do this session. It’s under a 2 hour drive for us, but we all rode together & I literally spent about 12 hours with them. Cory’s mom also came along & I’m so happy she did. She was kind of my sidekick in the other boat & braced me while we were out on the lake. After the session, we wrapped it up with a late dinner & just enjoyed one another’s company. Couldn’t have planned it any better if we wanted to. This session is a top favorite for sure & I’m so EXCITED for their WINTER wedding!!!.jpg "Cory+TaylorLAKE-5")
