LUKE + REAGAN | DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS BREWMASTERS GATE WEDDING

My goodness, where to begin with this wedding? I know I’ve shared SO many pictures to their facebook album already, but there are just MORE and MORE to see that deserve to be seen. This wedding’s details were to good to let slip by. I needed to do them justice & share some more here on the blog.

I remember when Reagan contacted me & at first, she was tentatively setting her date for September 30, 2017! There was a time when it may get moved up to early September if they did not get the venue they had their hearts set on. You can only book this venue about 2-4 months from the event date – talk about a HUGE risk!!! She just could not picture her wedding day any differently so the risk they took & let me tell you, some risks are SO WORTH IT. It would be a descent size wedding & I know many couples have trouble finding an aesthetically pleasing venue when they need to fit a large crowd, but the Brewmaster’s Gate in the Brewery District of Columbus, was big enough & the most beautiful. It is the perfect venue to mix a little rustic with the industrial feel. Reagan saw her day filled with lots of greenery & that’s exactly what she decorated with. Simply stunning. A huge shout out to Sheila’s Flowers & Gifts from Richwood, who captured that vision.

The girls got ready at Flat 51 in German Village. **FUTURE BRIDES, this place is GORGEOUS ! It provides beautiful light that makes make-up artists & myself super happy. It was extremely reasonable in pricing, too. I’m SO SO happy we had this location to capture so many gorgeous shots. In between snapping some pictures of the girls getting ready, I ran over to the Hilton to catch some moments of the fellas. Luke, you looked so dapper in the classy black and white! Luke + Reagan LOVE German Village so after getting ready, we headed to one of their favorite parks there to do the first look. It was beautiful. We did many of the portraits right around that area & headed back to the venue to finish up. Both the ceremony & reception were held all in this single location.

There were so many favorite details of this wedding, but a few that stand out I want to share. Luke + Reagan gave gifts to one another before the wedding & one of Reagan’s favorite places is Jana Lee’s Bake Shop. Luke was super creative and decided to tell their love story from the first time they met to their wedding day through the decorations on the cookies. EPIC! Fellas, take note 😉 My second favorite detail of the wedding day that I have literally NEVER EVER seen anywhere was their dessert table display. OH.MY.WORD! Hands down, the most beautiful & tasteful display ever. Don’t be fooled by the amount of dessert either, it was totally picked over by the time I wanted to go grab something. STUNNING!!! During the father/daughter dance & mother/son dance, the parent’s surprised the bride/groom with a slideshow that was precious. Oh, and then they had a food truck that arrived around 10 or 11? It was a Pizza food truck that they love & it was the perfect topping to the end of the night. I thoroughly enjoyed this wedding day. It was a dream. The emotion was authentic, the details are unrivaled, the venue was perfect, and the people were the best company. I could go ON and ON & ON, but I’ll let these pictures speak for themselves.
