I’ve been holding off on this post until Andrew + Natalie’s wedding anniversary, which happens to be TODAY!!! That’s right, today marks their 10 year since they said, “I dO!” The crazy thing is, I was at their wedding 10 years ago!!! It is so neat to see how our lives have aligned again ten years later. I find it such a privilege to first have witnessed such a sacred covenant between these two, and now being able to capture their continued love story with two little (but very tall) young boys!
Andrew + Natalie have lived in Columbus since they were married, but within that last year they have moved down to Georgia. She contacted me and said they would be up to good ol’ Ohio in August to visit family and inquired about getting a session done. I went to her family farm where she grew up. Although she is LOVING the south, she requested the crops/corn to be in her photos because she has realized how much she misses them. It was also perfect timing for their visit to align with documenting their upcoming anniversary.
It is beyond encouraging and refreshing to witness their selfless love towards one another. If you can’t tell by these pictures, sparks are still flying for these two. Natalie seems just as smitten by Andrew now as she was when they were engaged. I believe one of the greatest gifts you could ever give your children is a healthy, God-centered marriage and I’m so THANKFUL Jasper & Brody have that. I know these two are beyond genuine and love sacrificially, and I believe their next decade together will be even more beautiful than the first. Andrew + Natalie, I personally thank you for reminding me, as well as the world, how sacred and beautiful marriage is – thank you for giving these boys a home where their parents demonstrate love.
