Meet the Soltis family!! I did not know this family personally until our session just a couple days ago. My connection with them happen to be through Adam’s cousin, Tori, whose wedding I photographed in April (2015) in their hometown. Earlier this week, before even 8a.m., I received a phone call from Tori explaining this family’s situation & asking me I could make this family session happen for them. To be honest, I was so humbled she even thought of ME ! We coordinated schedule between the three of us within 24 hours & literally the next day, Tori & I were off to Canton.
Around the time of Tori’s wedding, Adam was diagnosed with cancer in April 2015 so I never met them at the wedding. After going through chemo, the family was informed that he was in remission. A short three months later, they have found that the cancer returned & Doctors have informed them that standardized treatment would be of little help. Although this family has received devastating news, I pray this session and these photos may be a ray of sunshine to their days. May they be able to share moments of joy & smiles as they look upon their beautiful family. Adam + Brittany’s little boy, Zander has to be ones of the sweetest kids I have EVER met. His temperament is beyond well-behaved & such a handsome fella. I kept telling mom + dad that we may need to get his modeling portfolio going. Brittany brought several special ‘props’ for them to include in their session & I LOVE THEM! So meaningful!
I am SO thankful for the opportunity to share in these moments with the Soltis family. We took these photos at a GORGEOUS farm in Magnolia, OH! It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The snow falling was simply magical & I am SO thankful for the Sancic family for opening their home to us. Don’t be fooled, this beautiful backdrop is not their barn, it’s their home!! The Sancic family own a company Olde Wood, LTD that helped provide the most gorgeous photo options. Because the inside of their home is just as stunning as the outside, they even allowed us to go inside for some pictures due to the cold weather. My Heart is beyond full to have served this family.
