THE MOSI FAMILY

Well, technically they are the Moses family, but Kelly likes to refer to their little family of three as the Mosi family! I can’t believe I am photographing Kelly + Corbett’s family. I have journeyed with this couple since the moment they talked outside of their college class they had together. I met Kelly in college & heard all about Corbett before they started dating. I can say, they are the first couple I have had the joy of witnessing every milestone of their relationship together. And when I say every, I mean I even woke up at their home & made them baked oatmeal for their 1 year anniversary. I have LOVED: watching Corbett pursue Kelly in college, receiving a phone call on New Year’s Eve to tell me they were engaged, photographing their engagement, spending the entire week leading up to their wedding together, documenting maternity photos, showing up at the hospital just hours after Leah was born, photographing Leah’s newborn pictures, and NOW taking family photos. Wow! It’s actually crazy to write that out & watch how their story has unfolded from being individuals, to being one in marriage, and three in persons.

Miss Leah Collins is almost 5 months old already & such a GREAT baby. Both Corbett + Kelly have expressed their gratitude for how easy Leah has made their first experience as parents. She smiles all the time, which, how can I NOT love her for that. Kelly showed me how she even recognizes the phone for selfies, it was priceless – she just smiles. Our session was almost too easy. She was so happy & it last about 25 minutes. Short, sweet & to the point. They just wanted a mini session to capture this season in their life. Not to mention, they may have been pictured-out from all the wedding photos we took the day before. Corbett’s sister, Courtney, got married, which was a full day of photos. Love how these turned out, but I simply love the family even more!!
