I keep asking myself, “Did Hawaii really happen? Is it truly over, already?” So many people have said to me that it seemed like I was there for so long, but it was not even close to enough. I’m thirsty for a hawaiian lifestyle – not just because of pretty sunsets, blue skies, and leaving the daily routine behind. I want to adopt their mentality of less is more, pursue an active lifestyle, and live off the land. I’ll talk more about this in my Kauai posts because we experienced so much daily life with locals there & I’m obsessed. In this post you are going to enjoy more pretty pictures of our time at the Organic Farm,North Shore where the Eddie takes place – big surf competition, and Hanauma Bay.<\/p>\n

My friend Hannah, worked on an Organic farm in Oahu for the whole month of January. By the time I arrived, she was already done working, but we went back to the farm to eat some birthday Pizza. Hannah gave us a tour of the farm & we helped make pizzas for dinner. We met so many wonderful people & enjoyed our time. The next day, we ventured to the North Shore. We spent hours there & I continued to get knocked down wave after wave. I spent most of my time sitting in the sand, taking it all in & watching the sunset. Micah & I spent our last day on the island at Hanauma Bay, known for its snorkeling. We took turns with the snorkeling gear (yes, we shared haha) & watching our bags. It was amazing to see all the sea creatures. This was one of Micah’s favorite things to do – all he wanted to do was to go snorkeling so I’m thankful we were able to make this happen for him. On our way back, we stopped at Aunt Mary’s house & picked her up to visit for another hour. Can we go back?! ASAP!
