I remember so clearly coming home from their engagement session smiling from ear to ear. They were absolutely wonderful to work with. I have actually know Kristin since middle school years since we were neighboring schools, we played again one another in every sport. Stephen, on the other hand, I had the joy of meeting him for the first time during our session & these two together are such a treat. He seriously ADORES Kristin, even after all these years of being together.<\/p>\n

The funny thing is, a year prior to them being engaged, Kristin brought her two adorable twin nephews to a “Twin Mini” I was offering. Being the sweet girl that she is, the photos of her nephews were a surprise for her brother & sister-in-law for Christmas. During the session, in passing, she states that she will probably be engaged within the year & will have to contact me when that time comes. I’ll be honest, you never know how serious someone is when they make that comment so I never pressure the issue. Well, she was more than true to her word.<\/p>\n

I had recently been in contact with Stepehen’s mother & she told me, “Stephen has been in love with Kristin since 6th grade!” How precious is that ?!?! Although they have been together for at least 13\u00a0years, the second I walked up to him & his groomsmen all dressed, he looked at me & said, “Katie, I think I am going to get sick. \u00a0I am so nervous.” I tried to reassure him we still had like 4 hours until the ceremony, but I just loved how genuine his feelings are for his lovely bride were in that moment after all their time together.<\/p>\n

We did have to battle the rain for a bit heading into our portraits, but I am so thankful we had the slight overhang for them to stand under. I just love their expressions and true joy in all their photos. Enjoy reliving their day with them!! So many great ones !!! I LOVED working with you two!<\/p>\n
