A MODERN RUSTIC BARN WEDDING

ADAM + ERICKA

You are in for a treat with this wedding. I’ll be honest, I shouldn’t talk about ‘favorites’, but this is definitely one of my top 3 weddings to photograph. From the gorgeous lighting to an authentic venue, a stunning wedding gown on a beautiful bride, the color scheme to the details – it was literally picture perfect. The pond is even photogenic!!! Not all ponds are pretty, but Laura, the owner, has an immaculate property that she has the joy of sharing with so many. I am hoping some day to meet up with her to get the full story on the family property and details on the venue. I have heard pieces & I’d love to share with all of you because it brings to life the entire property.

Now, on to Adam + Ericka for a moment… My family goes way back with Ericka’s family. In fact, our mom’s were best friends growing up & have maintained the most down to earth friendship any one can ask for and that’s exactly what Erick and I have. They are literally the family we could not talk to or see for years, but call in a heart beat for help with no judgement or expectations of being paid or the favor returned. It’s a beautiful thing & we love that about them. I remember when Ericka started bringing Adam around. Mom & I were fans! He is full of joy & has a contagious laugh and smile. Our family has enjoyed getting to know him better & love that he welcomes our family in their home as well.

Ericka definitely did an amazing job pulling all her details and vision together for their BIG day!! It was gorgeous all around. I have had so many people comment on this wedding & one specifically said it is literally a “pinterest explosion”. The owner of the property, Laura, has such an artistic eye, which helped pull this together as well.
