JEFF + RACHAEL | OHIO SPRING WEDDING

PINIMAGE

Jeff + Rachael had a GORGEOUS spring wedding. The whole week & even the day of the wedding, it was calling for thunderstorms. I reassured her not to stress over the weather & leave that to me. By the grace of God, the rain kept getting pushed back & allowed us to get all the portraits in before the ceremony. It did eventually rain fairly hard, but during the indoor ceremony, so I still wasn’t too worried. Again, the rain stopped just in time for our portraits outdoors. We were so blessed with those windows of time. I’m so thankful!!

We did not do an engagement session, but I did meet with Rachael for a few hours before their wedding day to go over those wedding details and take time to get to know her. We easily carried on for quite some time, but it was so easy to chat with her. She told me she was very ‘chill’ about everything, but pictures were definitely something she was excited to prioritize. Hearing that is always music to my eats. I completely understand and respect those who do not put that at the top of their list, but for the ones who do, I love them so!!! Jeff + Rachael were certainly among the most laid back couples. They fully trusted me to do my thing & were willing to do anything I asked. I’m also very thankful to work with wonderful clients. They are so kind & such down to earth genuine people. Rachael looked absolutely stunning & held the most beautiful spring bouquet. The girls’ dresses just popped & screamed SPRING!!! The guys looked dapper, but there was one mishap that had my laughing. The best man grabbed the wrong suit & didn’t realize until that morning. He had to book it back home (which was quite a distance) to get the correct suit for the wedding. He was a little late, but nothing that made too big of a difference. It’s another story to tell. The best thing, the bride was not even freaking out. That’s how calm she was. There were another ‘oops’ moment that happened that day. After the father of the bride gave his daughter away, he tripped over her train & fell in the middle of the aisle. I can write this with confidence because they were all upset with me that I didn’t capture it. I couldn’t. He literally fell right in front of me & I thought for a second to try and catch this 6 foot fella & I was in shock. I couldn’t even take a picture. God Bless him!!

I’m so excited to share this wedding with y’all. They have so many stories to tell from this day & so many beautiful images to go through. Enjoy!!
