NICK + KILEY | COLUMBUS SPRING WEDDING

This wedding was my perfect start to 2017!!! I met this couple last November when we did their engagement session & I walked away smiling from ear to ear. I remember driving home from our Columbus engagement session & thinking, ‘this couple reminds me why I LOVE what I do!!’. I actually remember texting Kiley that night or the next day telling her so. Not to mention, they both have smiles that light up a room. Watching their interaction was simply a gift & I could hardly wait for their spring wedding.

Then, the day arrived!! Their wedding day & it was GORGEOUS! I could not believe the high 60’s weather, sun shinning & minimal wind. While I was beyond thankful for the weather, there was not a cloud in sight, nor a leaf of the trees to help diffuse the light, making portrait time a little more creative. Nonetheless, it was still a dream day for April in Ohio.

Nick + Kiley were totally set up by Nick’s parents!! How awesome is that? I love that Kiley had a chance to know her future in-laws before she even met Nick. Mr. & Mrs. Bell insisted their son, Nick, needed to meet Kiley, who was in their small group. Nick had been away at school in Tennessee, but soon enough fell in love with the girl his parents couldn’t wait for him to meet. They all have such a special friendship/relationship that is simply beautiful. Nick’s best man was even his father. It’s clear Nick has a respect for his parent’s opinion and friendship.

Let’s just talk about Kiley & that wedding dress!! That was her mom’s wedding dress & I could not believe how well preserved her dress was. I think it is literally the whitest dress I have ever seen – Amazing & gorgeous!! All of her wedding details were stunning.

Their ceremony & reception took place at the lovely Camp Mart Orton venue in Columbus. It’s definitely a favorite, with such a gorgeous property. They had one of the most detailed coffee bars, popcorn bars, and candy bars I have ever seen. They thought of EVERYTHING – my kind of people 😉 I’m so thankful to work with such amazing couples & their families. It’s certainly a blessing to witness their covenant. Thanks for being ever so GREAT!!!
