TYLER + PAIGE | PICKWICK PLACE SUMMER WEDDING

Tyler + Paige’s wedding was so much fun despite all the crazy rain. We were able to dodge the rain for the majority of the day, but did have to go inside right as we were starting their portraits. Thankfully, we caught a window during the reception to pull these two lovebirds outdoors to get some more of their portraits. Paige has such striking features & Tyler has such a photogenic smile. These two take amazing pictures & I love the way he makes her life. Those are some of my favorite portraits of these two, when Paige is throwing her head back in laughter or shrugging her shoulders giggling. Their wedding party was also so fun to work with & was up for anything I suggested.

There were so many sweet moments throughout the day full of happy tears & emotional moments. There was also plenty of laughter & genuine joy. This crew danced all night long & there are so many dancing pictures. They are sometimes my favorite pictures because it also shows so many other people who attended your wedding aside from your wedding party & family. This is a wedding you don’t want to miss scrolling through…I love shooting at the PickWick Place in Bucyrus, especially with all of the details Paige + Tyler chose for their wedding. The dress color paired with the suits against the brick were perfect… so go ahead & start scrolling…

JACOB + CASSIE | SUMMER BARN WEDDING

Jacob + Cassie’s wedding was picture perfect. The forecast called for rain, but it held off for us to even have an outdoor ceremony. I knew she really wanted to do the ceremony outdoors, as did I so it was a win-win. I was so thankful we could do all these pictures outdoors, too. The fellas were looking sharp in those navy suits & all of the colors and details Cassie had chosen for the BIG day went together flawlessly. I loved the center pieces and simple, yet stunning decorations. These two were such a joy to work with, starting with their engagement session. I am so thankful to work with a bride like Cassie. She valued my opinion more than the average client & I can’t tell you how much that meant to me. She fully trusted my experience in the wedding industry & that was such a compliment. Thank you for entrusting me to capture your wedding day.

They had so many family + friends celebrating alongside them. I may have even teared up during one the speeches. There was so much joy + even special intimate moments. Their dance party was so fun & they chose such great vendors from the venue, to the DJ, and videographer. It makes for an amazing experience when all the vendors click. Why continue to go on and on when the photos can speak for themselves? Enjoy !!

JORDAN + TAYLOR | SPRING ENGAGEMENT

Y’all, I LOVE their story & I love how I met them. If you follow my work, you may recognize this couple as the couple whose proposal I stumbled upon & captured. I was not hired by them to be at the proposal, I had never met them nor spoken to them. I just happened to be standing in the spot where the proposal was taking place & Taylor’s mom came up to me & asked if I was a part of the ‘event’ that was soon to take place. Me, being the total extrovert that I am replied, “No, I have no idea what you are talking about, BUT, what event? I love an event & people!” Her mom informed me her daughter was getting engaged in about 20 minutes or so in this spot. I informed her I was a photographer & all the stars aligned. Her camera ended up not turning on & literally giving her an error, but there was no fear, God so perfectly timed everything. We stayed in contact after the proposal & I am officially shooting their December wedding.

Now, on to their story, I found out at their proposal that Jordan + Taylor both attended Cedarville University, so I just assumed they met there & dated all through college. Taylor & I met for coffee a couple months after the proposal & I learned of their story, which is even better than I imagined. Taylor informed me that they met at a camp out of state way back when. The high school years passed them by, living in different states. Jordan graduated high school & attended Cedarville University. Taylor was a year behind him & ended up attending Cerdarville as well. They ran into each other at college, not even knowing the other was attending there. This is when you would think they started dating, but that’s not even the case. They didn’t date in college at all. It was not until after college that they reconnected through mutual friends from school. What was suppose to be a day of hanging out with everyone, turned into a day that set their love story in motion. I love their story & I have come to adore these two. I’m so thankful for engagement sessions where I get to know my clients a little bit more.

I can’t wait to photograph your wedding & I pray we become good friends !!! Y’all are awesome & TAYLOR, you are stunning. Loved this session!

COLTON + EMIILY | DREAMY WINTER ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Such a PERFECT winter engagement session for the couple, Colton + Emily!! I am so excited to work with these two. They are so kind, thoughtful, and were up for anything this session. Colton messaged me that morning of our shoot & told me he was getting his beloved something from Starbucks & asked if I would like anything! How kind are they?!!?!? I was worried about the session being too cold, but instead, we were blessed with the most beautiful snowfall. I couldn’t believe it. It was so dreamy, so pretty & it photographed just perfectly. I kept checking in on them to make sure they were not cold & they were up for all the adventure. I loved that they kept their coats on & embraced the winter theme. I always encourage clients to just embrace it. You don’t HAVE to freeze during winter sessions 😉 Also, Emily nails that model look too. She has a beautiful smile, but she kills that look. I just kept telling her to work it !!

I can’t wait for their August wedding at one of my favorite venues 🙂

NICK + HOLLY | OHIO CHRISTMAS WEDDING

Ended the year with this beautiful wedding in downtown Columbus. Nick + Holly were the perfect couple to end the year with. Holly, you looked STUNNING! Mary knocked it out of the part with your hair & you have one of the most contagious smiles. Nick, you looked quite dapper & have such a kind spirit. I love the way you two laugh with one another. Together, You make people feel important & included. I loved your first look at the SHOE, portraits at the State House & your venue was beautiful! LOVED spending the day with y’all & dancing the night away.

The groups of people I get to work with are so amazing, so fun, so kinda, and TROOPERS! It wasn’t as cold as it could have been for December, but when you are taking all the portraits outside, it starts to get to you… but let me tell you, the bridesmaids were amazing. They never complained walked around in those heals and sleeveless dresses (well, they didn’t complain to me at least). Holly was outside for a long time herself, but she’s amazing & smart too because she brought other shoes to walk around in.

Their reception was too fun. There were many times I caught myself saying, “WHat is happening?!?!?!” Nick’s family has so many fun wedding traditions I have had yet to see. One moment everyone on the dance floor is holding red utensils & the next night everyone is in sync rolling around the dance floor! HAHAH! They are a good time, that’s for sure.

Thank you Nick + Holly!!! I love you guys & LOVE working with you. Enjoy your day all over again 😉
